TRAVIS SCOTT CONCEPT
The Client
This project is a conceptual exploration of how an artist website could operate at a higher level of visual clarity and functional control. Travis Scott’s world blends music, culture and visual storytelling, which creates an environment where a digital platform needs to feel intentional rather than promotional. Our aim was to study how an artist of this scale could present releases, visuals and tour information in a more cohesive and structured way.
The Challenge
Large-scale artist websites often suffer from visual overload. They lean heavily on decoration while offering little structure or hierarchy. As a result, the experience becomes fragmented and difficult to navigate. We set out to design an alternative approach that treats the digital presence as a curated environment. The challenge was to balance the raw visual energy associated with the artist with a framework that remains clear, readable and functional.
Our Approach
We created a system built on contrast, weight and controlled movement. The design avoids unnecessary complexity and instead focuses on establishing rhythm between typography, photography and negative space. Each section serves a specific purpose, whether it is highlighting new releases, presenting tour dates or reinforcing the artist’s identity. The concept is built as a modular structure, allowing every element to expand or contract based on the needs of future content. The tone remains grounded, with a consistent visual treatment that ties together the different facets of the artist’s world without relying on theatrical effects.
